Note: Each exchange has its own security settings for copying API keys, such as 2FA authentication. We do not include those screens as they are standard and their availability depends on the individual settings of your exchange account.
To create API keys, follow these instructions:
Step 1
Log into your account on the Kucoin exchange website.
Click on the profile button in the form of a circle with initials in the top right corner. Click on the "API Management" button.
You will be redirected to a new page where you need to click on "Create API".
1) On the page that opens, come up with any name for the key, for example, "JJO", and create a password for the API in the "API Password" field.
This password will be used when you later link your API keys to your J'JO account. Note that this password will be different from your "Trading Password". The "Trading Password" will not be used to connect your KuCoin API keys.
2) Then, check the box next to "Spot Trading".
3) Below, select the "IP Restriction" option, then insert the J'JO IP addresses, one after the other, separated by commas without spaces, into the field that opens, and click the "Add" button.
You will find the IP addresses on the page when connecting the KuCoin exchange API keys to your J'JO account.

4) Ensure that the "Transfer" option is not selected. After that, click "Next".
Step 2
Now that the keys are created, you need to copy the "API Key (Key)" and "Secret Key (Secret)" so that you can enter them into the J'JO.
Important: You will not be able to see your "Secret Key" again if you leave this page or refresh it. Please copy and save it in a safe place.
Step 3
Copy the "API Key" and "Secret Key" from the exchange and paste them into the corresponding fields in your J'JO account.
After the keys are copied into the correct fields, paste the API key password into the "API Password" field and click the "Connect" button.
Congratulations! You have successfully connected your API keys to J'JO. Now you can invest in J'JO system indexes or create your own cryptocurrency index or portfolio.
Step 4
To successfully invest in the cryptocurrency market with J'JO, your assets must be hold in one of the three coins of your choice: USDT, ETH or BTC, and must be in the "Trading" section of your Kucoin wallet.
If after funding your exchange wallet or buying cryptocurrency your assets are in another section of the wallet, for example, in the "Funding" section, follow the steps below to transfer them to the "Trading" section:
- Go to the "Assets" section of your wallet by clicking on the button of the same name in the upper right corner.
- In the window that opens, click on the "Funding" button located on the left side of the screen.
- If coins are displayed in this section, select the coin you want to transfer, e.g. USDT. Then click on the "Transfer" button located opposite the coin.
- In the window that opens, select the wallet section from which you want to transfer the coin (for example, "Funding Account" or any other) and the section to which you want to transfer the coin ("Trading Account").
- Enter the amount of the coin and click on the "Confirm" button.
After completing these steps, your assets will be successfully transferred to the "Trading" section of the wallet and you can start investing in J'JO System Indexes.
